LILLIAN AND JON LOVELACE LIBRARY
AT THE
NYARIGINU PRIMARY SCHOOL
History:
The
Lillian and Jon Lovelace Library at
Nyariginu Primary School was
officially opened in Sept. of 1995.
Attending the ceremonies were the
school chairman, the headmaster,
members of the staff, the district
inspector of schools, along with
local reporters and parents. The
students from the school entertained all the
guests with songs and dances. The
teachers are extremely enthusiastic
of the library opening, since the
news of the success of our other
libraries has spread.
This is amazing for a school in a
village that is hardly on the map.
The headmaster of all the schools
who have our rural libraries credit
the WHWF for increased scholarships
of their students.
